Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an assistant to our team of Science, Art and DT teachers to ensure the smooth running of the departments. The role will liaise with the Heads of Department to co-ordinate the use of practical resources and facilities, provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the departments to support the efficient running of the departments' day-to-day lessons and co-curricular activities. This role is 8 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday term time, plus 18 days of INSET and support work. Support for an after-school club on one day a week will be required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Experience within a school and knowledge of health and safety requirements is desirable.
