Full Job Description

William Morris Sixth Form, situated in Hammersmith, was established as the country's first 16-19 comprehensive school. We offer 850 students from West London and beyond an exciting range of academic and vocational courses from foundation learning through to advanced level. WMSF is an over-subscribed, vibrant, inner-city learning community that has the individual student at the heart of everything it does.

The dynamic Science Department at WMSF is looking for a Science Teacher. The teaching responsibilities would be mainly for vocational courses (Applied Science and Health and Social Care) and GCSE (Combined Science).

The role is offered on a full-time basis or a part-time basis for teachers wanting to reduce working hours or a teacher looking to return to work with fewer working hours.

In return, we aim to create a friendly, supportive and open culture in which staff can develop and thrive. Professional development for all staff is taken seriously, and many opportunities are offered both in-house and externally.

Closing date: 9am on 25th October 2024

Interview date: 29th October 2024

We actively promote the safeguarding and welfare of all our students. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
