Full Job Description
As a Science Teacher, you will be instrumental in delivering an engaging and robust science curriculum to pupils aged 7-13, preparing them for entrance exams and beyond. Key responsibilities include:
- Inspiring Lessons: Plan and deliver creative and thought-provoking science lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
- Curriculum Delivery: Teach a broad and balanced science curriculum, including biology, chemistry, and physics, to prep school pupils.
- Individual Support: Tailor lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring all pupils thrive in their understanding of science.
- Encouraging Practical Work: Use the school's well-equipped labs to provide hands-on experiments and practical learning opportunities.
- Assessment & Progress Tracking: Regularly assess pupils' progress and provide feedback to ensure academic growth.
- Enrichment Activities: Lead or support science-focused extracurricular clubs and activities to further engage pupils outside the classroom.

The ideal Science Teacher will: - Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
