Science Technician

Required as soon as possible, to join our friendly team of Science Technicians providing essential support to teaching colleagues and students within the Science Department.

This is a varied role which will involve providing teaching colleagues with apparatus, chemicals and resources to support the delivery of routine demonstrations and to enable students to undertake practical work within the classroom.

As Science Technician you will be required to work in accordance with strict health and safety guidance and procedures ensuring that a healthy, safe and productive learning and teaching environment is maintained.

The role is available to both experienced Science Technicians and applicants with an interest in scientific issues wishing to pursue a new career. Training will be provided where needed to support you in this new role.

A calm, friendly and helpful manner is essential as is the ability to adapt and be flexible to the requirements of the Science Department.
