Full Job Description
Science Technicians are essential members of the Christ's College team, supporting the effective and safe learning of science subjects in school. If successful you will report to the Head of Science and be responsible for:
- Preparing, organising and storing of items required for the daily running of the Science Department within the schedules of priority and targeted areas
- Following the procedures of the Science Department and safety rules on handling, storing, transportation and disposal of hazardous materials and substances
- The care and maintenance of equipment and the reporting of usage, shortages and breakages to the relevant Head of Department.
- The daily routine of preparation and cleanliness of the Science Department's laboratories, preparation rooms, storage and resource rooms
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required by the Principal
