Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Scientific Officer to contribute to further development of the technical provision with the aim of producing an enhanced, efficient, and flexible and technical support system that meets the short, medium, and long-term needs of the school. To facilitate this, the school desires to put in place a high quality, highly skilled technical services team, ready to respond to change and able to support the diverse teaching, research and income generation activities that are necessary to ensure the school's continued viability. This team will be characterised by flexibility, agility, and a commitment to providing a first-class service.

The appointed person will have an undergraduate degree incorporating Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or Immunology with demonstrable English and Math skills. In addition, practical knowledge and experience of laboratory techniques and use of laboratory equipment.
