Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two scientific practitioners to support our team at The Hewitt Fertility Centre, Liverpool on a permanent basis.

Successful applicants will be required to actively participate in semen analyses, semen preparations and oocyte collections along with routine laboratory preparation and maintenance. It would be preferable that the successful applicants have experience working within the clinical embryology/andrology laboratories and be familiar with the HFEA code of practice however this is not essential. The successful applicants must be personable, have excellent communication skills, enabling them to deal with patients directly and liaise with colleagues - being a "team player" is essential.

Please note, successful applicants will need to provide cover at both Liverpool and Knutsford sites on occasion., To provide support to the andrologists and embryologists at The Hewitt Fertility Centres and perform laboratory procedures including oocyte collections and semen preparations whilst maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness within the laboratory.
