Full Job Description

  • Performing analytical assays to support upstream and downstream process development activities, to inform process understanding and to deliver process characterisation activities.
  • Carrying out multiple laboratory-based assays (such as, but not limited to: ELISAs, plate-based assays, cell-based assays, nucleic acid extractions and qPCR) each week and completing the data processing and reporting for these assays per the schedule.
  • Contributing to trouble shooting and technical investigations.
  • Contributing to the writing, revision and review SOPs and technical reports.

    Minimum BSc Degree programme level, a postgraduate degree and/or relevant experience.
  • Practical experience in a range of bioprocess analytical techniques, such as but not limited to, cell-based assays, nucleic acid extractions, qPCR, and ELISA.
  • Experience in the following areas will be considered an advantage: flow cytometry, HPLC, cell culture and aseptic technique.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
