Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior SCM Specialist to join the newly formed Yunex Traffic Business. The role will include design and implementation of global future-oriented strategies, methods, processes, and systems to contribute to the development and improvement for the Yunex Traffic Procurement & Logistics organisation. What are my responsibilities?
- Managing the global processes, IT applications, tools and governance with a clear focus on lean, digitalised processes to create a highly efficient SCM setup.
- Serve as the global key user for various applications within the Procurement & Logistics department, providing expertise and support in utilizing functionalities effectively.
- Lead the implementation of the new procurement platform for the Procurement & Logistics department worldwide, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of the system within the global supply chain network.
- Drive digitalization and automation initiatives within the supply chain, identifying opportunities to leverage technology solutions for improved productivity, visibility, and cost savings.
- Develop standard procedures (e.g. procurement policy, contract templates, etc) that enable consistent and efficient procurement and introduce best practices to continuously improve performance and efficiency
- Project management (including the development, implementation, communication, and training strategies) including generating presentations to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
- Maintain active communication with internal customers and conduct trainings to amplify knowledge and ensure effective implementation of processes and tools
A commercial or technical university degree (Master's/Diploma) is required. - Possess 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with deep knowledge in strategic and operational procurement and logistics.
- Expert knowledge as well as experience in the implementation and/or customization of Procurement Platforms (e.g. Ariba, Coupa, Jaegger), SAP systems and other SCM relevant applications.
- Proactive and independent working style, with a clear focus on the continuous development and digitalization of methods, processes, and tools.
- Highly organized, with the capability to apply relevant project management methods and tools to plan and manage initiatives effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to connect teams and synchronize with internal and external stakeholders internationally.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling the identification of process improvement opportunities and the development of innovative solutions.
- Knowledgeable about emerging trends and technologies in SCM, particularly in digitalization, automation, and data analytics.
- An innovative and creative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge conventional approaches.
- Demonstrates initiative, teamwork, and customer orientation, impressing with results and quality orientation.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
