SCPHN School Health Nurse

The role will include working in primary and secondary schools, health centres and the client's home, providing public health related care to support in areas such as safeguarding, emotional health, sexual health and physical health, alongside supporting schools to deliver personal, health and social education, and managing medical conditions in schools., + All new starters have a thorough induction process, both local and Trust wide, which aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.

Are you a newly qualified or experienced SCPHN School Health Nurse looking to work as part of a new team delivering high quality care, to children aged from 0-19yrs, in line with the Healthy Child Programme?
We have a 26.5 hour/week, term time only post which is the City North Locality and surrounding areas covering Headington, Barton, Marston, Botley, Summertown and Kidlington. Currently based in Headington with a move to new office space at Jordan Hill, Oxford OX2 8ET in Spring 2025.
We are looking to recruit motivated practitioners with initiative and drive to join our friendly and enthusiastic team and contribute to the further development of our service and improving outcomes for our children, young people and families.
We are able to offer this part time, term time role, with a complete training package and a preceptorship programme.
Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.
