Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to join the Kent and Medway Screening and Immunisation Team (KMSIT) as a Business Support Assistant. The successful individual will play a key role in organising and co-ordinating the Screening and Immunisation Programme Boards and provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the team., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher. You will have previous administration experience and possess high level secretarial and IT skills (Microsoft Office). The ability to prepare agendas and papers and take minutes at Board level is key. Attention to detail, flexibility and approachability are essential to the success of post as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope with the changing demands of the service. You will need the ability to work on your own initiative and manage your own workload, including supporting the team by booking travel and meeting rooms, maintaining distribution lists, organising and maintaining filing systems and managing diaries in Outlook (see Job Specification for full details) The post offers flexible working, requiring in-person attendance at pre-arranged meetings in Kent and London.

The KMSIT is part of the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Public Health Commissioning Team which consists of a Commissioning and Contracting Team, working alongside 2 Screening and Immunisation Teams. Collectively, our core purpose is to ensure that all eligible people have access to high quality, accessible national screening and immunisation programmes and to maximise uptake whilst reducing inequalities., The NHS England board have set out the top-level purpose for the new organisation to lead the NHS in England to deliver high-quality services for all, which will inform the detailed design work and we will achieve this purpose by:
