Full Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage agile delivery teams
  • Apply agile practices and run agile ceremonies in Thales UK programmes
  • Support Product Owners in setting and enacting product visions and establishing critical success factors for delivery
  • Building and motivating and empowering your team to produce a positive and innovative culture for our people to excel in their performance and develop
  • Building and maintaining business relationships with our clients, suppliers and third party stake holders
  • Driving our future growth through working closely with sales and account management to identify profitable business opportunities
  • You must have a capacity to lead continuous growth initiatives through your management and leadership

    To have an agile mindest with appropriate experience in delivery and coaching teams in agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, LeSS, SAFe, etc.)
  • You can, in collaboration with the Thales-UK agile referent, understand and articulate how these practices can be applied to Thales digital engagements and how to bridge between legacy practices and programmes and modern scaled agile deliveries.
  • You can build and maintain an effective scaled agile delivery team
  • You can take responsibility for the translation and measurement of value (what you put in and what you will get out) and ensure this relates to practical client objectives and the user needs.
  • You can ensure that working practices are iterated to achieve effective delivery.
  • You can support effective budget management within the constraints of a project. You can monitor projected budgets against expenditure. You understand how commercial frameworks can be constructed to deliver agility
  • Desired Experience:
  • Successful examples of delivering agile engagements, preferably in a defence domain
  • Notes:
  • Must be able to obtain SC Clearance (at a minimum)
  • Significant UK travel may be required
