SD / HP Personal Assistant

Do you enjoy socialising in the pub, going out to eat, or pottering around shops? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a young man who loves doing exactly those types of things!

As a Personal Assistant, your duties will be to support the young man to access his local community. We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for making a difference.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential. However, you must have experience in dealing with young people on the autistic spectrum. Experience in caring for someone with epilepsy would be handy, but training for this will be provided. You will have a great sense of humour, positive attitude, and good communication skills. Because of the location, you will need to be a driver with a full clean license, and access to your own vehicle.

This is a part time position for 6 hours per week, which could rise over time for the right person. We offer an hourly rate of £11.44, and you will be entitled to 5.6 weeks paid annual leave, workplace pension scheme, mileage reimbursement, and expenses while on duty.
