Second Chef

Alfa Leisureplex Group has an opportunity for a Second Chef to join the team at The Royal Hote, Weymouth., As a Second Chef you will work 40 hours per week, including weekends & split shifts with an hourly rate of £14.20 - Regardless of age!

Being a Second Chef:

As a Second Chef you will work closely with the Head Chef looking after all aspects of a Hotel Kitchen and deputising on the Head Chefs days off and annual leave. We offer a set menu on a 7-day cycle system for our guests, who are predominately coach customers. The menu is repeated each week with the majority of starters, mains and sweets made in-house using fresh produce.

You will work closely with the Kitchen team to deliver a consistent standard of food, where we expect the highest standards of food safety and health and safety within the kitchen environment.

Ability to work under the pressure of a busy kitchen whilst maintaining attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry
Good eye for detail and passion for the industry
Experience working as a chef in a similar setting would be an advantage
