Full Job Description

Science is an incredibly well-resourced subject which consistently has a healthy uptake of students at Key Stage 5. Our recently renovated Science labs offer the capacity to hold a wide range of practical activities using traditional laboratory equipment alongside modern technology. We are very proud to boast a highly collaborative science team consisting of teachers and technicians who have worked hard to continue to grow this important subject at our school.

We would like to appoint an engaging and inspiring teacher with a love of their subject to join the Science department. You will be an experienced and motivational leader who can help the department with its continued development. Our vision is to grow a thriving department which delivers an engaging and challenging curriculum for our students and produces exceptional outcomes.

Raynes Park High School is a vibrant, student-focused 11-19 secondary school rated "Good" by Ofsted in January 2019. We foster a strong community and have great pride in our students and their achievements. Whilst the students are at the centre of everything we do, we recognise and value our dedicated and committed staff. We are actively seeking ways to enable our staff to achieve a balance between the exacting demands of their profession and their lives outside work. Above all, we aim to ensure that every student is inspired to learn and achieves the best they can as a result of exceptional teaching and learning.
