King Alfred School (KAS) is a progressive independent school in idyllic grounds in North London. We are seeking to appoint a Second in Charge of MFL from January 2025. The successful candidate will teach French at all key stages including GCSE and A-Level, and Spanish at KS3. We are looking for an inspiring teacher who will also assist with the effective running of the MFL Department. The post-holder should:

  • Good honours degree + PGCE secondary (QTS).
  • Successful teaching of GCSE and A level French, and Spanish at KS3.
  • Proven track record of being an excellent teacher in own classroom.
  • Leadership of, or involvement in, extra-curricular activities.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
