Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a welcoming, talented and highly motivated team at Wren Academy. We require a Secondary Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a particular focus on English, who will support the learning needs of students who require assistance in accessing the curriculum or who need additional challenge in order to extend their learning. Wren Academy Enfield is the second school of the Wren Academies Trust which is sponsored by the London Diocesan Board for Schools and Berkhamsted School. It was initially modelled on the successful Wren Academy Finchley but every effort has been made to ensure that a distinctive ethos and approach is created which matches the needs and aspirations of the students who join the school. The first set of GCSE exams will be sat in Summer 2025. We wish to appoint a colleague to this role who has: Excellent interpersonal skills

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Experience of supporting students with a range of individual needs.
  • It is also important that the candidate is confident in delivering interventions in English and can support in developing our literacy programme for students with SEND.
