Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity hasarisen for 2 x Secretary / Administrators to join our Neighbourhood Nursing AdminTeams, one positionwill be based at the Cudworth LIFT Building and the other at Hoyland LIFTBuilding., The successful, candidate will provide a fulladministrative and secretarial support to the Neighbourhood Nursing Teams. Key duties will include working withinElectronic Patient Records ( SystmOne), producing documents using MicrosoftOffice software packages, arranging meetings / appointments, producing patientletters, servicing meetings including minute taking, ordering items via ourprocurement system and carrying out general admin duties such as filing andphotocopying.

Whilstalways ensuring confidentiality, the successful candidate will have the abilityto work without direct supervision, communicate effectively, work as part of ateam, use their initiative and prioritise their workload to meet deadlines aswell as been able to maintain and record accurate details and have goodorganisational skills.

under the supervison direction of theAdministrative Supervisor, within a delegated framework for agreed tasks and seekingsupport as and when necessary, provide a comprehensive, confidential, Secreterial administrativeservice to clinical / support services, in an efficient and confidential manner.

We are looking for a strongteam player, who can work on their own initiative and provide a comprehensive adminservice to our Neighbourhood Nursing Teams.,

  • Must be willing / able to undertake all appropriate Trust mandatory training requirements, and subsequent refresher training relevant to the area.

  • Must be willing / able to undergo job development and training and maintain skills.


  • Experience

    Essential
  • Recent Secretarial / administrative experience and copy / audio typing.

  • Note / minute taking.

  • In using email, maintaining and updating paper and electronic diaries, arranging meetings.

  • In using Microsoft Word and other Microsoft applications, Excel, Outlook , PowerPoint etc.

  • In working as an effective team member with minimum supervision.

  • In working in a busy environment with competing demands.

  • Understanding of the need to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • In using a degree of initiative.

  • In organising and prioritising own tasks in order to meet deadlines.

  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification) or, RSA lll

  • Or, be able to demonstrate competency at level 3.

  • Able to fulfil Occupational Health requirements for the post (with reasonable adjustments if necessary).
