Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident Secretary/Administrator to provide a comprehensive Personal Assistant and Secretarial support to the Neonatal and Paediatric Transport Senior Team. The team includes the General Manager, Heads of Service, Matrons, Clinical Educators and Team Leaders., The successful candidate will work as a Team Secretary to ensure all secretarial and administrative support to the Paediatric and neonatal senior transport team is undertaken, which includes: diary management, typing, taking phone calls, organizing meetings and transcribing of meeting minutes/notes.,

  • Ensuring documents for meetings are sent out in a timely manner.
  • General day to day support for the senior team in organisation and runningof the service.
  • To ensure effective communication between the Managers, Heads of Service, senior nursing team and medical staff whilst maintaining confidentially at all times.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with other teams, families and patients the service may have contact with.
  • Manage electronic diaries for the neonatal and paediatric transport senior team, general manager, Heads of Service, Consultant leads, Matrons and educators.
  • Action incoming mail , making appropriate decisions in relation to the actions required.
