Section Manager - Haematology

Applications are invited from experienced; HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists with an MSc Biomedical Science (or equivalent qualification/experience) for a full time Senior Biomedical Scientist (Section Manager) post in our busy Haematology Laboratory which forms part of a Blood Sciences Laboratory service at this busy District General Hospital., The successful candidate will join our friendly team of experienced Biomedical Scientists and support staff and take a leading role in the day to day running of the Haematology Laboratory, supervision, training and competency assessment of laboratory staff and quality management according to UKAS standards, at this busy District General Hospital. The successful candidate will be part of the Hospital Haematology Team

The laboratory is well equipped (Sysmex, ToSoH and Werfen analysers [amongst others]), fully computerised (Clinisys LabCentre system), fully UKAS accredited and IBMS approved for training.
