Full Job Description

Reporting to the VP, Cluster Commercial Leader UK & Ireland, and being part of the European Commercial team, this role will need an experienced leader who can shape the growing business into what Iron Mountain needs to deliver our growth ambitions of our UK Corporate Enterprise Business. The role will focus on growing both existing and new accounts, understanding the challenges the industries face and positioning the full range of Iron Mountain services to address long term needs of our customers. The role will lead a sales team of c10 people, made up of a mix of Senior Sellers, Account Managers and Business Development experts. Indicative sales targets will be in the region of £10m for the team. The role will be a senior member of the UK sales team and work closely with peers and colleagues to deliver our ambitious growth targets. Typical objectives for the role will include:

  • Lead the development of Iron Mountains offer into the Financial, Insurance, Construction, Manufacturing & Media in the UK, leveraging our global capabilities
  • Develop the individuals in the team to exceed their sales targets
  • Support the introduction of new solutions to our customer base
  • Lead the commercial account management function to deliver positive NPS growth, pricing improvement to mitigate inflation and positive margin development.

    The ideal candidate will have multiple years of leadership experience in Sales & Account Management, preferably in relevant sectors, including:
  • Track record of securing multi million pound service contracts to the industries
  • Pipeline development in new or immature relationships
  • Structure account management and relationship development in key target accounts
  • Development of a team to show improvement and development in their objectives
  • Be used to working in a global organized and collaborative matrix structure
