Security Analyst

The Security Analyst will be required to act to support the implementation of projects and processes to enhance our Cyber security capability, while also activity monitoring our current estate to help eliminate threats and vulnerabilities

• Assess monitoring and alerts of security platforms taking action where appropriate.
• Monitor the threat and vulnerability landscape in the McBride context and support, advise and communicate remediation steps to relevant teams.
• Support the IT security Manger to deliver continuous security improvements across the company
• Help to design and deliver end user security training.
• Supporting the IT security Manager in providing guidance and training to junior members of the security team where instructed.
• Provide support to the GIS Cyber Security team in delivering both projects and BAU.
• Collate and format reports for projects, progress reporting, and action planning.
• Participate in scheduling and monitoring resources.
• Help build and maintain formats for effective tracking and monitoring.
• Develop understanding of security management, incident response & cyber security standards
