In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on this mission., We're searching for a skilled Security Engineer to lead efforts in consuming and optimizing the data we gather from our security systems and beyond. Working collaboratively with our security teams, you'll be instrumental in designing and enhancing our capabilities, ensuring our processes and tools continually strengthen our ability to protect our organization. You'll implement solutions that enhance visibility and anomaly detection across the enterprise, becoming a Subject Matter Expert in our information architecture and the tools, policies, and processes we use to safeguard it. And yes, you'll enjoy yourself along the journey! In This Role, You Will:

  • Play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and privacy of our customers and employees.
  • Expand your expertise with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions. We embrace creativity and innovation.
  • Utilize automation to streamline processes, focusing on both coded and codeless tools for repeatable tasks.
  • Collaborate with a Security Operations Center (SOC) that values progress and teamwork.
  • Gain experience with a broad range of security tool integrations and build sophisticated alerting and automated responses.
  • Join a dynamic team that values new perspectives, innovation, and continuously setting higher standards.

    Have experience with security monitoring, log aggregation, designing alert structures, and managing SIEM implementations.
  • Have deployed EDR in large-scale environments.
  • Have implemented CASB and zero trust solutions in large-scale settings.
  • Are adept at establishing baseline behaviors and detecting anomalies.
  • Have experience with programming, particularly with Python and Bash scripting (a plus).
  • Are eager to enhance their security knowledge and contribute to a dynamic, growing team.

    If you are joining our Engineering team in a full-time role, you will be required to attend a regional HubSpot office for in-person onboarding.
