Full Job Description

The provision of a high quality, efficient customer orientated security service and compliance with the Trust Patient Confidentiality Policy.
The job role requires that the post holder will either undertake the role of security guard during their shift. working one fixed day per week with the remaining hours allocated ADHOC in advance.
Please note we reserve the right to close this vacancy prior to the closing date once the required number of suitable applications have been received, The Security department at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital provide a variety of services to patients and departments, including maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff, the provision of a high quality, efficient customer orientated Security service and compliance with the Trust Patient Confidentiality Policy.
The post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check., To provide a comprehensive Security service to all Wards and
Departments on site to be flexible in approach to work and undertake other duties that are assigned under the role. To provide a security service to the hospital and grounds, protecting people and property and detecting and preventing crime. To manage the Trust's car parks, dealing with illegally parked vehicles and ensuring safe access and egress from site.
This post is required to work on a rolling Rota working 12 hour shifts with a 1 hour un-paid break.
The successful applicant will be an employee of the subsidiary and not Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
