We want our employees to reflect the diversity of our communities and the customers we serve.Role context: The security Controller will be based in the UK and will provide Defence Security Assurance to the UK Resident Director and the Defence Sector Director. Other general responsibilities include:

• Working closely with our Project Managers and Service Delivery Manager to ensure that the full suite of security requirements are met including the development of Security Management Plans
• Lead internal security audits in collaboration with our Global Security team and Defence Director to identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Create and deliver internal training, ensuring it keeps up to date with industry specific standards
Job role:
• Liaising with the Corporate security team
• Overseeing the security Vetting of personnel - working with our Security Coordinator, UKNSV (Security Vetting) and other agencies
• Manage the onboarding/ off boarding of colleagues working on business sensitive projects
• Signing off and managing Security Aspects Letters (SALs) for
• Be the subject matter expert for UK security matters
• Representing the company whilst engaging with the wider Defence Security Industry
• Responding to Client security requirements and focal point for NCSC information.
• Organise and, with the support of the IT provider, run internal UK-defence focused IT security exercises
• Lead on the preparation for the annual Cyber Essentials plus accreditation of our secure IT system
• Opportunity to get involved in projects in other areas of the business
• Opportunity to work from home or work from any of our UK offices
• Travel to UK offices and client sites throughout UK as required
What you bring:
• UK National with no dual nationality and UK resident for at least 4 years
• Knowledge of MOD and Defence industry
• HMG BPSS and UKSV vetting processes knowledge
• Strong communication and reporting writing skills
• Liaising at all levels of management
• Interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills
