  • Alarm Monitoring: Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.

  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular external and internal security patrols to maintain safety and security across the premises.

  • Reception Duties: Perform reception duties, welcoming and assisting visitors and staff professionally.

  • Key Management: Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties efficiently.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain all logbooks and records meticulously, ensuring accurate documentation.

  • Safety Reporting: Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices to management for prompt resolution.

    Are you a dedicated security professional with at least 1 year of experience? We're seeking a reliable Security Officer to join our team in Dunstable, working 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering both days and nights., Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a security role, demonstrating reliability and expertise.

  • Vigilance: Keen observation skills to monitor and respond to security alarms and CCTV.

  • Patrolling: Ability to conduct thorough and effective patrols, both internally and externally.

  • Communication: Strong communication skills for reception duties and incident reporting.

  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records and report any issues to management.

  • Proactive: Prevent unauthorized access and manage keys with diligence.


  • SIA licence

  • Drivers licence

  • 1 year experience within the security industry

  • Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history

  • Access to vehicle/good transport links
