Security Officer

Position: Security Relief Officer (36hr contracts available, must be able to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays)., Delivering excellent customer service

-To ensure all duties completed in full to a high standard as directed by your supervisor and management team.

-Report and act on any security breach to line managers and 24hr control room

-To assist with any security, safety, or criminal investigations

-To provide full details of all events via the Merlin Daily Occurrence Book

-To conduct external and internal patrols of buildings and car parks

-To be aware of and ensure compliance with all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements

-To fully and satisfactorily complete all of the tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Risk Assessments (RA's), Memos and Toolbox talks.

-To be compliant with Industry and Statutory Legislation (you are required to obtain a front-line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision), which must be worn at all times whilst performing your duties.

-If perform duties within any of the control rooms a CCTV PSS SIA Licence is required.

-Attending further training /courses as directed.

-Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.

-Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority

-At all times have a smart appearance while on duty

-Reliable, self-motivated and ability to use own initiative and able to work without supervision

-Has and will continue to maintain an excellent record of attendance and timekeeping

-Fit enough to perform manual handling in a goods in/out environment

-Fit enough to perform long foot patrols, able to walk up and down many stairs and stand for prolonged periods

-Able to use a computer basic level of word, excel is necessary for this role

-Has knowledge and experience of patrol systems

Hourly rate: £13.15 per (breaks are paid)
