Security Officer

The Security Officer role at Cliniwaste, Nottingham requires a candidate who can ensure the protection of the customer's property, people, and assets in compliance with Assignment Instructions (AI's) and regulatory requirements. The position follows a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with day shifts from 7AM to 7PM.

Key Responsibilities:
-Operations:

-Ensure compliance with policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.

-Perform tasks outlined in the Assignment Instructions.

-Maintain and suggest improvements to the AI's.

-Stay compliant with industry legislation, requiring a front-line licence in Security Guarding/Door Supervision, and a CCTV PSS SIA Licence.

-Perform key security tasks such as patrolling, monitoring CCTV, and controlling access.

-Administer driver check-ins, issuing keys, fuel cards, and necessary paperwork.

-Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing PPE (Hi-Vis vest/jacket, safety boots).

-Training:

-Complete all required training and continue professional development.

-Ensure continuous licence renewal, 16 weeks before expiry.

-Security and Health & Safety:

-Report and respond to health & safety hazards.

-Stay vigilant to potential threats and take proactive action when necessary.

-Maintain professionalism during difficult situations, following AI's, and reporting incidents through detailed notebook entries.

-Perform check calls and liaise with emergency services when necessary.

SIA License (Security Guarding/Door Supervision and CCTV PSS).

-Previous security experience.

-SC Clearance is desirable.
