Security Officer

As a Security Officer, you will use your skills to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and buildings whilst providing excellent customer service. As a Security Officer with us, you will:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors
• Monitor and control access to the premises
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
• Handle any incidents or emergencies that may arise
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers when needed
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
• You will be alert to everything that's going on around you, ready to spot potential situations and responding rapidly if and when you do.
• Work within a team to ensure that security roles and duties are executed in a professional and efficient manner.
• Create a safe environment, by being visible maintaining a positive security presence.
• Responding to alarms
• Monitoring behaviour and diffusing any situations that could lead to a disturbance
• Maintaining a security log, including recording all incidents
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all persons under your duty of care in accordance with SIA and licensing standards.
  
  Hold a valid Door Supervisor license
• Have previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of first aid procedures is required
• Have strong observation and problem-solving skills
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have an ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Have excellent customer service skills
