Full Job Description

Our client is a renowned company at the forefront of innovative transportation solutions. Due to ongoing and continued growth, they are looking for a competent Security Officer to join their team in Newport, Wales., Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry to authorised personnel only Ensuring that all permitted visitors receive a 'high end' customer experience from entry to exit. Responsible for manging the sites key control Ensuring arrival of delivers are announced to the warehouse and directed to the correct location of site. Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate accordingly Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty Monitor and control access to the site Ensure risk assessment and assignment instructions are always followed to meet requirements To assist in training new security officers in all aspects of their job To take effective action in an emergency and co-operate fully with the relevant services Enforce all relevant health and safety requirements at all times Carry out any other duties of a reasonable request by the client
