Retail Security Officer - Lidl Winton- Wimborne Road
Location: Lidl Wimborne Road, Winton (BH9 2HE)
Position: 37.5 hours per week, overtime available for holiday/absence cover
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Shifts: Day shifts only (Up to 10 hour a day between the hours of 12pm - 10pm Monday - Saturday, and 9am to 10pm on Sundays) Night Shifts 9pm - 8am

- Act as a visual deterrent on the shop floor
- Safely detain offenders following H&S training
- Utilize store security systems, including CCTV and EAS gates
- Collaborate with covert security operatives
- Investigate losses and support inquiries about known offenders
- Complete accurate incident reports and company documentation
- Report crime incidents using a company-provided tablet
- Conduct routine patrols to ensure customer safety
- Record patrols in daily activity sheets
- Provide security updates during store briefings
- Conduct shift handovers to ensure service continuity
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all
- Door Supervision or Security Guarding License
- Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or education
- Previous experience in a retail security role
