Full Job Description

We are seeking a Professional Security / Reception Officer to join our Company with an immediate start, to work Monday to Friday days /52.5 hrs per week., Overseeing the safety and maintenance of a designated property and ensuring that the property is conforming to all applicable regulations. Recommending and co-ordinating improvements to the property through liaison as needed to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming space.,

  • Reception Duties welcoming staff and visitors' contractor's, PC work.

  • Keeping an attendance register for all visitors to site in accordance with fire regulations.

  • Escorting Prospective Clients or representatives around the building and answering relevant building question related to the role and building knowledge.

  • Assisting with emergency response and evacuations planned or not.

  • Inspecting the building frequently for signs of damage or wear.

  • Monitor H&S on regular patrols reporting trips slips and falls or near misses.

  • Implementation of Emergency plans and evacuation procedures in collaboration with all stakeholders.

  • Overseeing security, fire prevention, and other safety systems.

  • Liaison with tenants on Fire regulations and Fire Wardens, highlighting any training for building employees as required.

  • Maintaining a safe environment with proper lighting, signage, and disability access.

  • Ensuring that all occupants are provided with access to proper utilities.

  • Resolving complaints, problems, and requests from building tenants and escalating where needed.

  • Liaison and Scheduling regular building maintenance and janitorial services.

  • Contracting professionals for repairs as needed through agreed lines of communication via Helpdesk or client direct.

  • Monitoring building maintenance projects where needed.

  • Overseeing contractors and inspecting completed jobs, snagging and witness of commissioning work.

  • Supervising 3rd party contractors in high value or dangerous areas.

  • Maintaining records of tenants.

  • Ability to upskill yourself with further knowledge or courses, liaise with your management to assist and advise where necessary.

    Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Negotiation Skills, Customer Service Experience, Maintenance Experience, Awareness of Building Codes and Safety Regulations, Ability to Set and Meet Goals, Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills., SIA licence, Basic Health & Safety, First Aid Certificate.
