Security Supervisor

We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Supervisor to oversee the performance and upkeep of the security function on one of our esteemed clients' premises. You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of your team and ensure all colleagues are adhering to their duties and maintaining a high level of professionalism and security presence. You will be working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off shift patter. Times will be 06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 to 06:00.,

• Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring the team are fulfilling all their daily tasks and adhering to Assignment Instructions and Corps Security policies.
• Monitor surveillance and alarm systems and respond to any security breaches/incidents in an efficient and timely manner - ensuring escalation processes are adhered to.
• To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including; goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development training, and monitor attendance/timekeeping.
• Prompt and accurate submission of all necessary reports and performance measurement documentation to the appropriate departments.
• To monitor all staff and contractor activities on the site including the 'control of contractors', recording of method statements and risk assessments.
• Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during emergencies.
• Investigate any security incidents, accidents, and breaches, preparing comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations.
• Ensure effective communication across departments with integrating security measures into all operational factors, including events, facility management, and safety or all persons on site.
• Stay up to date with security trends, technologies, and regulations, providing recommendations for system and procedural improvements.
• Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
  
  Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
• Previous Supervisor/Management experience
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
• Full UK Driving License
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
