Security Vulnerability Manager

The Security Vulnerability Manager is responsible for safeguarding the organsation's information systems and assets by overseeing the vulnerability management process, managing penetration testing activities, supporting cyber incident response, providing technical expertise to various teams on cyber issues, supporting security tooling and working proactively to prevent potential threats and improve the organisations cyber security posture. The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) implements the government's maritime safety policy in the United Kingdom and works to prevent the loss of life and occurrence of pollution on the coast and at sea. The Security Vulnerability Manager will:

• Oversee the entire vulnerability management lifecycle, including identification, assessment, prioritisation, remediation, and reporting.
• Manage the use of vulnerability management tools and technologies.
• Plan, execute, and manage penetration testing activities.
• Act as a subject matter expert for a range of security tools and technologies.
