Full Job Description

Clinical and Care Professional Leads support south east London-wide and borough programmes of work, therefore, there is an expectation that you currently work within south east London, and for borough based roles, within that borough.

The postholder will work as part of the Mental Health Planning and Commissioning multi-disciplinary team (in the ICB's Planning Directorate), to provide clinical leadership, enabling the development of the Adult ADHD care pathway programme, including specific workstreams as agreed through the SEL ICB Adult ADHD Task and Finish Group.

SEL continues to see increasing levels of demand for ADHD assessment and treatment services which are impacting on our patient waiting times and access to care. The post will provide a dedicated resource to review the current service model and recommend the most effective approach to meeting SEL patient need in the short, medium and long term. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of service transformation and change, and will be expected to have a strong knowledge of the current adult mental health or neurodiversity landscape in SEL. Previous experience in leading teams and working across professional boundaries is desirable.

From the Catford Cat to the Brixton Windmill and Chislehurst Caves, South East London is a vibrant, fun, unique and richly diverse place to live, grow, learn and work. The South East London Integrated Care System (SELICS) brings together the organisations responsible for health and care services in south east London, making the greatest possible contribution to the health and wellbeing of people living in our six boroughs.

SELICS is made up of staff working in many different roles, in different settings, employed in different ways, by a wide range of partner organisations, and are at the centre of our collective ambition for greater integration and better care. Employing organisations include NHS Trusts, GP practices, Social Care and Voluntary sector organisations, social enterprises, dental surgeries, pharmacies and optometrists.

We have an ambitious People Strategy that brings these partners together to deliver the 'one workforce' ambition, making the health and care system a better place to work and live.
