Full Job Description

Clinical and Care Professional Leads support south east London-wide and borough programmes of work, therefore, there is an expectation that you currently work within south east London, and for borough based roles, within that borough.

The clinical care professional lead for SEL CYP is a pivotal post within the South East London BCYP programme. The postholder will:

- Provide expert clinical leadership, guidance and ongoing support to the development and implementation of programmes designed to improve outcomes and reduce inequalities for children and young people- Act as the Chair of the BCYP Strategic Partnership Board ensuring there is assurance around the totality of the BCYP programme in SEL, and leading and guiding the work of the BCYP programme that covers SEL and Place- work with stakeholders to identify service improvements and developments which are best done once for the system, at a Place footprint, via collaborative or network or by an individual provider., Work to address inequalities and reduce variation in outcomes across SEL supporting a population health management approach to understand where the need is greatest and the development of improvement projects to target and improve health outcomes for those populations- co-design a CYP strategy / identity for SEL ICB- management of the clinical care and professional leads within the SEL BCYP team and engage their counterparts at Place in the programme- Think and act strategically about service development needs by influencing the BCYP workstream to deliver the NHS long term plan and the SEL joint plan
