Full Job Description

We're seeking a self-employed driver to support our charity shops in and around the Stratford/Alcester/Redditch area.

You'll distribute stock between our shops on an ad-hoc basis, facilitate house collections and clearances, support stock generation events such as Donation Drive-Throughs, and promote Gift Aid. As the role involves collecting and transporting large items, such as furniture, you will need to have access to your own suitable vehicle.

You'll play an important part in supporting our charity shops, which fund the care of one in four of our patients.

A full, clean UK driving licence
- A suitable vehicle
- A UTR number
- All relevant insurance
- Experience of distributing goods
- The ability to lift heavy and/or bulky items
- Knowledge of safe moving and handling

We are committed to building an inclusive workplace and encourage everyone to bring their true selves to work. However you identify, and whatever background you bring with you, we welcome you to apply. If there are any adjustments that would help improve your experience with Myton, we encourage you to share this with us.

At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 25 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.
