Full Job Description

I moved back to Hastings 5 years ago to look after my elderly mother whom had cancer and suffered from general age issues. Unfortunately, I became ill a year in with an undiagnosed virus which ate my cartilage and bones, leaving me with a broken hip and shoulder. I have had operations but damage was too much so I am now mainly in a chair.Recently, over Christmas, I had a collapse and was in Irvine unit for 3 months so now I can't stand at all. That all being said I never give in, I am lucky I still have all my limbs attached and a roof on my head, running water and theopportunity to find someone to help me just a bit and someone to get to know and trust as I've been isolated for awhile.
I am looking for a self-employed PA to assist with general care, medicine, collecting prescriptions, personal hygiene, showering and hair washing, transfering (I use a banana board as I am in a wheelchair), catheter care as well as light housework, cooking and meal prep.
I am new to this so I won't know exact hours and needs until I meet you to discuss and we start things if you like me and think we can develop a good bond to work together. I am flexible to your hours and very eager to work with just one person instead of agency.
At present I am looking for 19 hours of support per week; Monday - Friday 1hr AM- 1hr PM (excluding Thursday AM).We can discuss based on your availability. There may be overnight care in the future, we can discuss this at interview.
Please let me know if you have availability . I look forward to hearing from you soon. Take care
