The Sell Out Innovation Manager sits within the E-store team where the main focus is on direct to consumer - Samsung.com, Shop App, EPP, SMB, E-promoter and Samsung Experience Stores with the goal to improve the revenue contribution in these channels as well as great customer experience! This role reports to the Head of Demand Generation and the team has experienced much success in recent times delivering incremental revenue by launching promotional events from 2020-present. The demand generation team look after all promotional activity and sales innovation for Europe! Including:

  • Cross-category direct-to-consumer promotional campaigns (Samsung Festival)
  • Campaign optimisations
  • Sales channel exclusive promotions
  • Promotional innovation pilots
  • Role and Responsibilities Your key responsibilities The Sell Out Innovation Manager, will work to explore, develop, validate, and deploy the growth of new innovative marketing and commerce solutions for the European region. You will be one of the key points of contact and work with subsidiary, EO and HQ teams to communicate the e-store team's objectives and gain agreement. The role will lead the communications strategy and execution (written and orally) to our senior leaders to ensure full understanding and alignment of plans. You will work on new projects and guide the solution-development through the lifecycle process across all existing and new European sites, focusing on driving incremental revenue for Samsung Europe. This could be piloting a new promotional mechanic or developing a new Pan-European promotional campaign. THE CORE ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Work across a team of cross-functional business stakeholders, technology developers and agency partners to look at business opportunities and deliver revenue growth and innovation pilots/projects.
  • Work with the CMI team to understand difficulties and solutions to critical business problems and identify key trends within the market that we need to capitalise on.
  • Undertake fact-finding work in support of technology product development or system changes to help drive innovative solutions that will drive incremental revenue.
  • Develop cases to show business and consumer benefits to achieve sign off from key senior leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst to help investigate feasibility and scope of the projects, and potential innovative solutions.
  • Aid in the development and delivery of new processes, practices and structures to ensure standard methodology is adopted for internal team members and partners, including effective communication with the subsidiaries for any business transformation changes.
  • Lead (on behalf of e-store team leadership e.g SOI Director) on communications with HQ, EO and subsidiary management to ensure that all messages are landed appropriately and clearly. Where required, you will have to influence to ensure pan European initiatives (sponsored by EO leadership) are adopted enthusiastically and gain the required focus and support from all areas.
  • Support on commercial Pan-European campaign toolkits and rollout with 17 European subsidiaries

    Ability to see the bigger picture and think strategically about what is possible. Take inspiration from other brands/sectors and be able to translate into Samsung world
  • Experience in a commercial e-commerce role is highly desirable
  • Excellent design skills of Powerpoint (and other programs) presentations to appeal to Samsung Senior Leadership teams - HQ, EO and subsidiaries. The ability to present in a format that is appealing and can be easily understood
  • Ability to prioritise and influence- projects, deliverables, and collaborators.
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements
  • Hands on mentality and experience within delivery
  • Understanding of and/or experience with Korean culture desirable
  • Hard-working and upbeat when delivering multiple projects at the same time.

    The successful candidate will need to deliver best-in-class delivery of all demand generation promotional events according to the promotional calendar. They should meet all deadlines from initial briefing through to toolkit delivery and campaign execution.
