We are looking for an exceptional individual to join the School Effectiveness team in a new and exciting role for Warwickshire's Education Services. About the Role A fantastic opportunity has been created to join our well respected and knowledgeable School Effectiveness Team. Our strategy is underpinned by three core principles: knowing our schools, supporting our schools and challenging our schools. We are aware that safeguarding can present a number of challenges for school leaders, hence the creation of this role, so that we can better advocate for our schools regardless of their status. It is a very good time to join our team as there are some exciting new developments coming that will change the way we can work and make a difference to more children and young people. In short, the role will broadly entail:

  • Pulling together findings and analysing the Section 175 Audit
  • School audits and visits which would feed into the Team Around the School Approach
  • Practice Review/Serious Case Reviews?
  • Advice for schools regarding educational safeguarding practice, provision and culture
  • Safeguarding Policies and supporting schools and settings
  • Joint Responsibility for DSL Network Meetings?
  • Being the Safeguarding Education representative on agreed boards

    The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
