Job Description Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Do you want to make a positive impact on students' lives and help shape their future? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Pastoral Lead to join our secondary school in Brighton. In this role, you will be at the heart of student wellbeing, offering targeted pastoral support to pupils with SEMH challenges and contributing to an inclusive, supportive school environment. Core purpose 1) To teach / facilitate teaching and to provide pastoral support for a select group of higher needs students, to help these students address their social, emotional, mental health needs and their own general wellbeing needs (including attendance) and thereby remove barriers to academic progress. 2) Support the SENCo and pastoral team in the care for students and the administration of pastoral provision throughout the school.
