Full Job Description

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Longfield Academy has an exciting opportunity for a SEN Administrator to join our dedicated and friendly team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our SEN provision, helping our students achieve their full potential.

As the face of our SEN provision, the successful candidate will excel in creating a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and students alike. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your organisational and communication skills while playing a vital role in the daily life of our academy.

We're looking for someone who:

Enjoys variety and thrives in a busy environment, managing tasks with efficiency and calm, even when the day is full of activity.
Values confidentiality and professionalism, handling sensitive information with maturity, tact, and discretion.
Brings excellent IT skills, confidently using Microsoft Office applications to produce documents, manage data, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Is adaptable and resourceful, responding flexibly to the evolving needs of a vibrant school setting while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional support.
Loves building positive relationships, whether working with staff, students, parents/carers, or external agencies.
Has a calm and confident communication style, ensuring information is conveyed clearly and interactions are handled with care and professionalism across all channels - face-to-face, over the phone, or via email.
Thrives under pressure, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Is passionate about providing excellent customer service, going above and beyond to support the needs of the SEN provision and the wider school community.
Your role will be varied, meaningful, and integral to the success of our SEN provision, offering you the chance to truly make a difference every day.

If you're ready to bring your skills and enthusiasm to Longfield Academy, we'd love to hear from you. Join us in our mission to provide outstanding support for students with SEN and contribute to an environment where every child can thrive.

This is a fixed term position working 37 hours per week, term time + 1 week of inset and offers an actual salary of £20,347 per annum (£23,656 full-time equivalent), based on experience.
