SEN Classroom Assistant / SMSA

We are currently looking to appoint an inspiring and dynamic SEN Classroom Assistant/SMSA. The role involves supporting an SEN Child in the classroom and during Lunchtime. F

• Demonstrate emotional resilience and confidence during challenging situations.


• Have an enthusiastic, imaginative and caring approach to all children;


• Be able to work as part of a team leading ensuring lunchtime is an enjoyable experience for all the children.


• Be able to recognise problems and report to the Class Teacher or line manager.


• Be able to show initiative.


• Knowledge of First Aid and Hygiene practice.


• Be able to engage pupils in lesson times and in unstructured times, including the pupils' lunch hour.
