SEN Learning Support Assistant

Two Bridges Academy will be a new provision for pupils with severe learning disabilities (SLD) or profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), some who may also have ASD. Learning will be holistic, creative and engaging, designed to bring out the best in every pupil and support them to:

• Actively participate in learning and achieve challenging learning goals


• Develop communication and interaction skills


• Become as independent as they can possibly be


• Understand how to maintain their own wellbeing


• Demonstrate positive behaviour
  
  The role would particularly suit candidates with some experience of working with pupils with severe learning disabilities (SLD), profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and autistic spectrum condition (ASC).


The successful candidate will have:

• a proven track record of outstanding learning support for pupils with SEND.
