SEN Learning Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Bromley. In this role, you'll support students with diverse needs, including PMLD, SLD, ASD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, and some wheelchair users.
Your Role:
+ Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of learning needs.
+ Assist with personal care and mobility needs, including helping wheelchair users.
+ Use positive strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
+ Work closely with teachers and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
+ Help create a safe and engaging learning environment.

+ Experience working with SEN children or young people is essential.
+ A caring, patient, and flexible approach.
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
+ Willingness to assist with personal care and physical support if needed.
