SEN Primary School Teacher

This is temp-to-perm role. You will be the lead teacher of the resource base. You will be planning and delivering high quality lessons that target students SEMH needs. You will effectively deploy a small team of SEND teaching assistants. You will also support their professional development.
Main Responsibilities
-Planning, delivering and evaluating lessons
-Adapt teaching according to the students' needs
-Liaise with SENDCo / Senior Leadership Team / External Professionals
-Prepare learning resources
-Support SEND Teaching Assistants
-Write progress reports for individual pupils
-Regularly feedback to parents/carers

QTS
-Understanding of SEND Code of Practice
Desirable Criteria
-Additional SEND qualification(s)
-Prior experience in a specialist provision
