Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely according to COSHH regulations.
Empty and dispose of waste in accordance with school policies.
Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
Follow a daily and weekly cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.
Respond to any urgent cleaning requirements as needed.
Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with staff and students.
You have an in date Enhanced DBS on the update service or able to pay for a new one immediately
You live in easy commutable distance to Orpington

Outstanding SEND School in Orpington is seeking a diligent and reliable Contract SEN School Cleaner to join our team for an immediate start! The successful School Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the reception area, classrooms, and other school facilities. The role requires adherence to health and safety guidelines, including COSHH regulations.
Experience working as a school cleaner is ideal
Clean and sanitize reception areas, classrooms, restrooms, and other school facilities.
Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within an educational setting.
Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as hoovers and floor polishers.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Perform regular hoovering, dusting, mopping, and wiping of surfaces.
