Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to support children and young people in Key Stage 2 to 4 who have autism and related social, emotional, and mental health challenges. These needs can significantly impact their emotional well-being and create barriers to learning.

+ Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
+ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
+ Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create tailored strategies for student success.
+ Engage with families to support student development and encourage their involvement in the school community.
+ Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to support their ongoing development.

+ Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
+ Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are desirable.
