The School is committed to empowering students, helping them to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEMH needs and/or challenging behaviours. Some of your responsibilities will include:
+ Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to engage with learning activities and achieve their educational goals.

+ Support the class teacher in delivering lessons, ensuring that students are able to participate and make progress in their learning.

+ Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs and/or challenging behaviours is highly desirable.
+ Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, counselling, or a related field are advantageous.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
+ Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with students facing complex emotional and behavioural challenges.
If you are passionate about supporting students with SEMH needs and/or challenging behaviours and are committed to making a positive impact in their lives, we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch and apply today!
