Working as an SEN Teacher, you will deliver fun educational based learning which is tailored to each of our pupils to ensure they will achieve positive results. Duties will include:
- Preparing, planning and assessing teaching sessions whilst maintaining an awareness of curriculum developments
- Writing and implement individual education plans, making assessments of educational attainment, setting challenging yet achievable targets
- Build relationships with all pupils, which will encourage their interest and participation in their education
- Creating an environment which is stimulating and purposeful for all pupils to promote teaching and learning outside the formal classroom settings
Hold Qualified Teacher Status/Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills - Have a background of teaching English and Maths, delivering teaching at a good or outstanding level

We're taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent)., Our New Options Autism School will cater for pupils ages 11 - 19-year-old who have ASC and Complex Needs. The school will have capacity for 60 pupils and is due to open in December 2024. For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We are a leading provider of education for neurodivergent young people and young adults.
